The Livermore Lions Club is one of the oldest community service clubs in Livermore.  Our membership is composed of men and women of all ages, all backgrounds, all religions, all political affiliations, all nationalities, and all ethnic groups.  We are united, however, in our desire to help those less fortunate then ourselves in our community, state, country, and world.                                                            Our MISSION is to empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace, and promote international understanding through Lions clubs.

The Livermore Lions Club holds a dinner meeting on the 3rd Thursday evening of each month at 7pm at Emil Villas BBQ Restaurant, 3064 Pacific Ave, Livermore.  These meetings are open to the public and an interesting program is planned. Visitors and prospective members are encouraged to attend.  Order from the menu.

Livermore Lions Breakfast Branch:  A new breakfast club for young professionals is now being formed.  This new club will meet on the 1st Friday of each month at  Emil Villas BBQ Restaurant, 3064 Pacific Ave, Livermore, at 8:00am. Order from the menu.  Bring a favorite novel to share and exchange.

Livermore Lions Lunch Branch:  A new lunch club for young professionals is now being formed.  This new club will meet on the 4th Wednesday of each month from noon to 1:15pm.  Meeting location will be Emil Villas BBQ Restaurant, 3064 Pacific Ave, Livermore.  Order from the menu.

Livermore Lions e-Branch:  A new, internet-based club for busy young professionals is being formed.  Members will not attend meal meetings, but will, instead, meet via electronic means on a regular, monthly schedule to plan and carry-out their activities.  There will be no meetings to attend and no meals to purchase.  Many clubs have found this approach to meet the needs of busy professionals and those with young children at home.  Please contact us if you would like to help in planning and forming this new branch.

The Livermore Lions Club, founded on August 21, 1924 under the sponsorship of the Oakland Host Lions Club, has served the needs of the Livermore, CA community for over 86 years.

Since 1925, Lions clubs throughout the world have worked to meet Helen Keller's challenge to become "knights of the blind in the crusade against darkness." Lions Clubs International, founded in 1917 by businessman Melvin Jones in Chicago, now has approx. 45,000 clubs with approx. 1.3 million members in 202 countries and geographical locations and has never wavered from its mission of providing service to local communities, and to serving as "trustees of the future generation."

The Livermore Lions Club is one of 45 Lions Clubs located in Alameda and Contra Costa County, collectively known as District 4C3 Lions.  Our District is led by District Governor Dave Peters (Pleasant Hill Lions Club) and his cabinet.                                                                        www.LionsEastBay.org
